Program Outline

Each week we will gently explore one of the 4 Dimensions with care, kindness. and curiosity in order to build self-awareness of your relationship to that dimension. We will also be passing on a variety of self-management tools, techniques and skills.  These self-awareness and self-management skills can then be practiced between sessions.  Support for these practices will be provided through audio downloads, supporting articles, the workbook, and space for journaling.  At the start of the following session, there will be time to check-in and review what worked what didn't work, before moving on to the next Dimension.

Session 1: Physical

This is the realm of Physical Well-being based in the Body.  The Body is our primary way of interfacing with the environment through our 5 senses - Sight, Hearing, Smell, Taste, and Touch.  These are also the main vehicles for experiencing pleasure. To experience a rich and varied life we need to keep our bodies in good form, meaning we have to pay attention to Exercise, Diet, Sleep, and Wellness and how these affect our performance, attitudes and fulfilment.  In this session participants start to develop their action plan by focussing on the Physical

Session 2:  Mental

This is the realm of Thinking and Cognitive Functioning, experienced through our thinking patterns, beliefs, attitudes, habits and sense of identity.  Much of this happens subconsciously.   The more we become aware of this functioning and the content of our thoughts, the better equipped we become to craft the life we desire and rein in the thinking patterns that undermine these desires, and in particular learn how to manage our Inner Critic.  In this session, participants start to further their action plan by focussing on their Mental functioning.

Session 3:  Emotional

This is the realm of Feelings and Emotions; our Emotional Intelligence.  How well we experience and manage our Feelings and Emotions and how well we respond when others are in strong emotional states is the key to building strong relationships. Emotions can also be a strong driver of our thoughts and actions, both positive and negative. In this session we will explore some of our emotional triggers, and how to more effectively manage our emotional responses.

Session 4:  Spiritual

This is the realm of Spiritual Intelligence – Our Morals, Ethics, Authenticity, and how well we understand what it is that provides Meaning and Purpose in our lives.  It is also the area within which the Heart operates - the home not only of our Love, Caring, and Compassion, but also of our Courage, Respect, Motivation, and Passion.  Without this Spiritual dimension, our life becomes shallow and meaningless.

Session 5:  Integration

This final session of the program brings the focus on integrating the 4 dimensions, The four elements are not distinct entities – they overlap, interact and influence each other in many different ways. This session is about getting clearer on how we operate across these 4 areas and how they interact with each other.  A review of the intergration tools covered in the program recognises that this is a life-long project and doesn't stop when the program is over.

Perhaps the art of harvesting the secret riches of our lives is best achieved when we place profound trust in the act of beginning. Risk might be our greatest ally.

To live a truly creative life, we always need to cast a critical look at where we presently are, attempting always to discern where we have become stagnant and where new beginning might be ripening. There can be no growth if we do not remain open and vulnerable to what is new and different.

I have never seen anyone take a risk for growth that was not rewarded a thousand times over.
